Article 2– Sales Agreement

• You are over the age of 16
• You are successfully wearing contact lenses whose specification matches that of the contact lenses being ordered.
• You have a valid prescription for the contact lenses you are ordering, which has been issued within the timescale required by law (within one year of your eye-examination).
• You have not, since your last issue of a valid prescription suffered from any eye condition requiring treatment, and have not been advised to stop wearing contact lenses by your optician.
• You are aware and understand that all contact lenses must be cleaned properly and used as stated by the manufacturers instructions. Use and care information on this website is for information purposes only, and while every effort is made to insure the accuracy, it should not be relied upon.
• You are aware that contact lenses are for your personal use only and should not be purchased or shared with anyone. Sharing of contact lenses can result in the transfer of microorganisms that can seriously damage your eyes. Never wear your contact lenses longer than prescribed by your optician. If you have any discomfort, irritation, watering, vision change or prolonged redness while wearing your contact lenses, discontinue wearing them and consult your optician as soon as possible.
• No responsibility or liability can be assumed by Contact-lens-direct.co.uk once you have accepted these terms and conditions.

Returns & Refund Policy

Contact Lens Direct Ltd will issue a full refund or replacement in accordance with the criteria below:

• We have supplied the wrong contact lens specification.

• The contact lenses are supplied damaged.
• Your contact lenses are not received within 21 days of dispatch date within the UK, unless we have notified you of a delay.
• If your goods have been returned to Contact Lens Direct Ltd by the Postal Service as undelivered. We shall endeavor to contact you to confirm your postal address. If we are unable to contact you within 30 days of receiving your returned goods, then a refund will be made within 7 days.
• Refunds will be limited to the value of the original order, and will only be issued against the same credit or debit account as originally supplied. We reserve the right to reduce the level of the refund if only some of the original quantity of contact lenses is returned, or if it is clear that some of the products have been used.
• Refunds will only be authorized once we have received the products.
• In the case of coloured contact lenses, we will not refund or exchange open boxes if the colour is found to be unsuitable.
• We are not responsible for the postage of returned goods.
• We reserve the right to refuse to accept future orders from anyone who has made previous claims for non-delivery of goods.

Please contact our Customer Service on 0800 7313214 to obtain a Returns Claim Form (RCF). The original invoice and the completed RCF must be enclosed with your returned goods.

Postage & Packaging
We do not charge postage on any orders of contact lenses.

Back Orders
If for any reason your contact lenses need to be specifically ordered or is not in stock, we shall inform you immediately either by telephone or e-mail with the option to cancel.

Delivery
All packages are sent 1st Class and should normally be sent with in 2-3 days. However if we anticipate this timescale to be longer we shall inform you promptly.

Privacy Policy
We do not disclose buyer’s information to any third parties. All information given to us is strictly confidential.
